Tamoxifen is an anti-estrogen medication that plays a critical role in the treatment of breast cancer. It is most commonly prescribed for patients with hormone receptor-positive breast cancer, which relies on estrogen to grow. By blocking estrogen receptors on breast cancer cells, Tamoxifen prevents estrogen from fueling cancer growth.

Each tablet of Tamoxifen contains 20 mg of the active ingredient, with a total of 30 tablets per bottle. This dosage is typically taken once or twice daily, as prescribed by your oncologist. Tamoxifen has been proven to reduce the risk of recurrence of breast cancer in women who have completed initial treatment, as well as prevent the development of breast cancer in high-risk individuals.

Beyond its use in breast cancer treatment, Tamoxifen is also employed as a preventative treatment in women with a higher-than-average risk of developing breast cancer, and it has been shown to reduce the incidence of new breast cancer cases. It is also used in the treatment of male breast cancer and certain fertility treatments due to its ability to influence hormone levels.

Instructions for Use:
