Instructions for Use
- Wash your hands thoroughly before handling the pen.
- Check the insulin for clarity; it should be clear and colourless. Do not use if cloudy or discoloured.
- Attach a new needle to the pen and prime it by dialling 2 units and pressing the plunger until insulin appears at the needle tip.
- Dial your prescribed dose using the dose selector.
- Inject subcutaneously into the abdomen, thigh, or upper arm. Rotate injection sites to avoid lipodystrophy.
- After injection, leave the needle in place for at least 6 seconds to ensure the full dose is delivered.
- Dispose of the needle safely after each use. Do not share pens or needles.
